FYI: Whoring Myself Out: Knotted Niceties

I have a new blog. No, this one isn't going anywhere. (I know, you were about to breathe a sigh of relief, weren't you?!) I'll still pitch fits on here on a regular basis. Hell, it's cheaper than therapy. Anywho, that blog, it's for my blankets. I make those cute little knotted fleece throws. Please buy one. I'm broke and jobless. And not above whoring myself out shamelessly like this. LOL.

Please visit Knotted Niceties!

Real Wine Cork Board

I made this real wine cork board a couple years ago. My dad bought me the kit. Warning: corks not included! I really love it, though. Even if it was damn near impossible to put together because the corks are all different sizes. I put the two bottom pictures up so you could see a close-up of the corks (click for larger). I put a lot of stuff on my new ribbon board, so this is sort of bare, but I really like it because you can see all the corks.

Ribbon Board

I got this ribbon board for Christmas. I loaded it up with lots of stuff as soon as I put it up. There's so much stuff on there you can't see the pretty black swirly design on the white background. But, my stuff is cooler, anyway. Ribbon boards are great for girls of all ages. They are great for notes, postcards, pictures, etc. They are pretty inexpensive and come in lots of great designs and colors.

Gone and Done It

Well, it is finally done.

And, he most definitely did NOT go to Jared. I hate those f'ing commercials!

O(pal) is for October

Meet my new ring. Isn't it pretty? I love old or antique-looking jewelry. This has that feel to me. I'm not an October baby, which is the month for which Opal is the birthstone, but my birthstone is ugly (orange--ick). I don't wear a lot of jewelry, but I loved it, so I got it. Maybe Travis will get me one with a diamond in it sometime soon... Alas, a girl can dream. LOL.

Hexagonal Shelves

Here are a couple things I have in my house that I really love. The first is a set of hexagonal shelves. They are loaded full of my favorite frogs (I collect them, or I used to, I guess) and three cool Coke-a-Cola glass bottles. The first bottle is a Class of 2003 (yes, I'm 12, I graduated high school in '03). The next is a 1980 National Championship Georgia Bulldogs bottle, and the last is one I got the other day. It was really cool to find a glass bottle coke. They just taste better in glass! Forgive the horrid wallpaper--I rent.

The other is a double-sided, curved, three-tier picture frame. It has some awesome pictures in it from Fort Pulaski. It sits on the mantle by the University of Georgia Sanford Stadium panoramic I took. Yeah.
