That is all.

Carry on.

  1. I'm confused. I thought you already had a ring and it was already moving forward.

  2. Hey, congrats! Wish you and your future spouse a very happy life together.

  3. Thanks, Elm.
Clay, we got engaged last November, but we were going to wait for a couple years (until he was out of school) to get hitched. Now, with me going back to school and everything being so different, we don't see much point in waiting, so we're getting married next month!

  4. Congrats! It's a good move, plus you will qualify for more educational benefits, since they are going to be handed out, you might as well get them before some illegal gets them.

  5. I think I heard about that somewhere.

  6. Congrats to both of ya. Hope your life together is a happy and full one.

  7. Yay!! Like Clay, I only knew that you were engaged and I thought the wedding was coming up soon.

Hey, I think it's a great idea to just go for it. I've never been a fan of long engagements anyway. They're usually only because of the hoopla surrounding the planning of a big wedding. But, it's been my experience and observation that somewhere in all that planning and all those details, people tend to forget about the marriage, because it becomes all about "the WEDDING".

    Best wishes, Linz!
