While I'm sure I've blogged about this before, I'm too lazy to go find it. The point is worth stating again, anyway. Over and over and over again. GUNS DO NOT KILL PEOPLE. PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE. Hell, even Akon knows that. I realize you anti-gun, pro-life, PETA supporting, tree hugging hippies out there can't get this through your thick skulls, but it is a cold, hard fact. I don't apologize for believing what I believe. I sure as hell know you don't. But you are just dead wrong if you think a gun got up, grew legs, loaded itself with ammo, walked over to someone, and pulled its own trigger. I just don't think that gleaming hunk of metal has the capacity. I'm starting to think you people don't either. If we don't have guns, people will just choose another weapon to use to kill people. Getting rid of guns isn't the answer. There will always be a way to kill another person--even if it is your bare hands. The evil in people is the problem, and no amount of legislation will get rid of that. And, let me just be petty, hokie, and cliche and say "If you outlaw guns..." Come on, everybody, say it with me! "...Only outlaws will have guns!"

But I prefer the "Paco, pay taxes" to the "Paco, go home". Or, "Paco, speak English". I don't mind if they are here, they just need to contribute and SPEAK ENGLISH!
